Manthan: Holistic Personality Development & Interview Guidance Programme
Dear Aspirants,
Gyanshila IAS believes that success in competitive examinations is not limited to completing the syllabus or scoring well in written tests. A successful aspirant must also develop confidence, clarity of thought, balanced opinions, effective communication, and the ability to present ideas with maturity.
With this vision, Gyanshila IAS introduces “Manthan”, a dedicated initiative designed to support aspirants in their journey across the three crucial stages of the Civil Services Examination — Prelims, Mains and Interview.
It has often been observed that academically capable aspirants struggle to convert their knowledge into effective answers or confidently express their thoughts during the Personality Test. Hesitation, lack of confidence, limited exposure to discussions and difficulty in structuring opinions can affect performance at the final stage.
Manthan aims to address these challenges through a combination of personality development activities, guided discussions, current-affairs-based interactions, opinion-building exercises, communication practice, mock interview sessions and individual mentoring.
The programme will encourage aspirants to think beyond memorisation and develop a deeper understanding of contemporary issues. Regular discussions and interactive activities will help students analyse issues from multiple perspectives, formulate balanced opinions and communicate their thoughts in a clear and structured manner.
These qualities are valuable not only during the UPSC Civil Services Personality Test, but also in the Mains Examination, where analytical thinking, clarity, balanced arguments and effective presentation play an important role.
At Gyanshila IAS, our objective is to create an academic environment where every aspirant receives the right guidance, constructive feedback and opportunities for continuous improvement. Through Manthan, we seek to nurture confidence, intellectual maturity, communication skills and administrative temperament in our students.
The programme is intended to complement the regular academic preparation of aspirants and help them become better equipped for the challenges of the Civil Services Examination. Our endeavour is to ensure that students are prepared not merely to qualify an examination, but to develop the knowledge, personality and perspective expected from future public servants.
Gyanshila IAS is committed to guiding aspirants from preparation to performance — and from performance to selection.
Manthan — Think Clearly. Express Confidently. Perform Better.
